You must purchase your Marriage License within 90 days of your wedding day. Marriage licenses expire after 90 days. Licenses must be purchased through your local municipality’s civic center, in the City Clerk’s Office. Most City Clerks’ Offices require that you make an appointment to acquire your license.
*Pro Tip: You can purchase a Marriage License at ANY City Clerk’s office in any city in Ontario. Please check with the office first to see if they require an appointment.
You must bring the Marriage License to your wedding, or you can give it to me a few days before your ceremony.
Your two witnesses and I must sign your license after your wedding ceremony.
I provide legal handling and registration of your marriage with the Province’s registrar’s office.
